HRM's paper desk buys recovered paper where it is generated, in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and delivers it to the mills that need it. We then sell those mills' finished goods (kraft paper, liner board and tissue rolls) on to converters and distributors. We are a GRS-certified trading house based in Korea and we trade as principal: sourcing, inspection, export documents, shipping and claims are handled by our own desk.

Quality and compliance
- Two-way value chain: we supply mills with recovered paper such as OCC, SOP and HWS, and sell the kraft paper and tissue rolls those mills produce on to overseas buyers.
- Grade and quality: moisture, contamination and prohibitive-material limits are set per deal, with pre-shipment inspection records kept.
- Compliance: import and export declarations, each country's customs requirements and recycled-material rules are checked and documented for every shipment.
- On-time delivery: shipping slots and containers are booked against the mill's production plan, with alternative sources lined up in advance.

- Do you trade as principal or as an agent?
- As principal. HRM signs as the buyer or the seller, and the desk manages sourcing, inspection, documents, shipping and claims itself. Where it helps a deal, we also work with brokers and agents.
- Do you only trade material from Korea?
- No. We source recovered paper where it is generated and sell it where it is consumed. Our partners are in more than 30 countries across five regions; Korea is where the desk sits.
- Which grades do you handle?
- Recovered paper: OCC, DLK, SOP, SWL, HWS, ONP, OMG, CUP, UPCMC and PCMC. Finished paper: tissue parent rolls, greaseproof paper, kraft liner board, kraft paper, MG kraft paper and release liner. Other grades on request.
- How is quality verified?
- Moisture, contamination and prohibitive-material limits are written into each deal. Material is inspected before shipment and the records are kept, so any claim is settled on evidence.
- Do you sell finished paper as well as recovered paper?
- Yes. Supplying a mill with recovered paper and then selling that mill's kraft, liner or tissue products on to buyers is the normal shape of an HRM paper trade.
- Can you help with finance and payment terms?
- Yes, where a deal needs it. HRM structures payment terms and, for qualifying trades, arranges finance. See the trade finance page.
